My goals
The Bronner Brothers 2008 Hair Show completed about a week ago and I have ALMOST recovered completely from the show.
My plans (sales pitch, attire, hair cut, etc) for the show went exactly how I wanted them to go but I didn’t hit my goal for the amount of sales that I wanted to make.
Before the show I knew that the economy was bad and I even preached to people about saving as well as the fact that we’re pretty close to an actual depression.
I should have applied my own logic to the advice that I was giving to others, especially in regards to how others spending habits, even more so for a product that is still seen by a lot of people as a “luxury item.”
People just weren’t spending the type of money that they were last year however it was should have been expected.
Even though I didn’t hit my sales goal I do have a few positive notes:

My goals
I hate the thought of being a consumer but sometimes being a consumer can be very satisfying as long as it’s done properly.
Two weeks ago I went into the Sony Style store just to kill some time and to see what new gadgets Sony had come out with.
While walking around I saw an item that I have to own and soon.
The item that I fell in love with is the 46” Sony Bravia XBR5 LCD Flat Panel TV.

My goals
As of right now I’m one month away from relocating to the city of Atlanta.
One of the main reasons that I’m moving there is to push the uRulax Heat Deflector Shield in a larger market.
My personal goal is to be the number one distributor for the the uRulax Heat Deflector Shield.
I’m aware of how difficult this task is, especially considering the fact that there are “real” distributors that have been waiting to get their hands on this product but with my approach and ability to accomplish anything that I set my mind to, this will be no problem. (more…)

My goals
One of my goals in life is to make the cover of Fortune magazine with braids.
At first I wanted to be the first black man with braids on the cover until I had a conversation with one of my childhood friends about what becoming a “grown up” means and how just because you’re not always first doesn’t mean that your accomplishment means anything less. (more…)
