I’ve come up with one way to automate the process and I believe that I touched on it a little bit a few days ago.
The only problem that I’ve come up with so far is the fact that the people that I will be helping will probably want some type of personal interaction due to the amount of trust involved with the service that I’m offering.
I don’t have a problem with this however this will certainly consumer a considerable amount of my time.
The upside to this that I see (hopefully) is the fact that it will be a natural progression to get my clients to sign up for my monthly service.
More work for a service that was supposed to be running at 100% on August 1st but delayed due to things I had no control over.
This is certainly a work in progress but progress none the less.
It seems as though once I’ve gotten one thing accomplished that something else pops up.
It also seems like I’ve said that at least one million times.
The issue that I’m dealing with right now is marketing.
Since this is a new service that is geared towards parents I’m trying a “grass roots” campaign in order to get a few sample runs under my belt.
So far I’ve narrowed down places where parents will be, in large masses.
Next week I will have my first trial run at mass marketing my service, hopefully it works.
After I get my first twenty clients then I will start building on the residual model of the service.
At this point all that I can do is be patient and remember that everything is done one step at a time.
Nine days have passed since I launched my service and I’ve yet to really do anything.
Not being able to seek legal advice on the business was a set back but nothing that should have kept me from pushing the product (it hasn’t).
The problem that I’m having right now is capital.
I thought I had it up until I had some unexpected expenses pop up that had to be taken care.
Not being able to push my service right now is a bit upsetting because this time of year would have been perfect to push the service.
All that I can do is move forward with the hand that was dealt to me and make sure that I generate some type of business before the month of August is over with.
These “snafus” have at least given me a little more time to think different aspects of my service and of course more ways to make the service better.
With that said I’m off to work.
