It’s pretty amazing to watch a company that seemed to spring up out of no where influence the world.
Google went from a tech start up, to a noun, verb, a “giant killer” and now is shaping the way that we will communicate as well as create a new way for advertisers to get our money.
Sometimes I think that I don’t dream big enough, especially when compared to these guys.
Here is an article that I found interesting about how Google is slowly taking over the world thanks to mobile computing.

I had a conversation with one of my business “partners” and I decided that things weren’t working out the way that we initially planned.
When my ex partner and I first started we both laid out of goals and vision for our start up company and we were on the same page, or at least it seemed.
When it came down to the amount of work that we put into the business it felt as though I was just an employee while my partner was my boss.
One of my weaknesses is that I give people the benefit of the doubt too often which allowed my partner to get money without actually doing any work.
Like I tell folks all the time, everything happens for a reason and this will serve as a valuable lesson learned.
Now instead of having a business partner for that particular start up I’ve got competition in one of the fields that I decided to go after.
No biggie because I run laps around this person and I will give myself a year (at most) before I put this person out of business.
This situation reminds me of the time that two friends of mine and I tried to start an investment club.
I was expected to do all the work and they expected to tell me what to do…I guess people don’t understand that I DON’T LIKE WORKING FOR OTHER PEOPLE.
