185 viruses on a computer.
I’m not exactly sure how someone managed to infect their computer with almost two hundred viruses so all I can say is that I’m impressed.
Coming from a “dark” computer background I know that viruses are extremely common for most computer users, with 3-4 probably being the norm (if I had to take a guess).
This machine that I’ve been working on for the past few days has opened my eyes and gave me a very good chuckle all at the same time.
Folks, you’ve got to keep those antivirus programs & system updates, UP TO DATE because if you don’t, you will leave yourself open for having your system infected.
This persons computer actually gave me an idea on how I can make one of my new projects a little more interesting.
Whenever I run across a computer that is so messed up that I have to scratch my head and wonder how they managed the damage they’ve done, I will create a video (documenting the problem).
With the video(s) I plan on creating a new section on my website just for computers that were so screwed up that they made it to the website.
This does a few things for me, with the first being a way to show others what can happen if you don’t protect yourself while you’re online as well as how to fix the problem.
The second being a computer wall of shame that I can reference at anytime.
I won’t put peoples names or anything on the videos, just a few seconds of me describing the problem, how it is affecting the machine and what I plan on doing to resolve the problem.
