Disstressed assets.
When I was 13 one of my family members won the rights to something called disstressed assets.
The service was first dibs to companies that had produced too many of a particiular product and wanted to sell them at cost.
It was a great idea at the time however there was one obstacle for us, we didn’t own a fax machine nor did we have the money to purchase things in bulk.
Besides those two things we really didn’t know who to sell what we could purchase to.
A few years went by and we didn’t do anything with the service.
I wish that ebay would have been around back then because I would probably be retired by now.
That however is water under the bridge.
I’ve now been given the oppourtunity with the same family member to get another business venture up and running.
This time around I owe it to them to figure out a way to make it work (great product that people love but it’s not seen as a “must have” item).
Recognizing the fact that it took 14 years for something to come back my way is punch in the gut because I don’t have another 14 years to “make it happen.”
So you have to find the way to make it happen, in less that time! i know you can do it… you’re that type of business man.
