I’m damn near thirty!
I don’t feel old however I do feel a sense of urgency to start executing the plan that I’ve been going over to myself for the past year.
I thought about going out yesterday and bringing in my first birthday in my new city (Atlanta) the typical way by partying but I decided to go against the grain, this time.
Instead I took my daughter to school, got a hair cut then went to work doing some research on the uRulax shield.
I’m happy with my decision to do some work and I will explain what I did tomorrow.
It’s official, I’m old.
The Bronner Brothers 2008 Hair Show completed about a week ago and I have ALMOST recovered completely from the show.
My plans (sales pitch, attire, hair cut, etc) for the show went exactly how I wanted them to go but I didn’t hit my goal for the amount of sales that I wanted to make.
Before the show I knew that the economy was bad and I even preached to people about saving as well as the fact that we’re pretty close to an actual depression.
I should have applied my own logic to the advice that I was giving to others, especially in regards to how others spending habits, even more so for a product that is still seen by a lot of people as a “luxury item.”
People just weren’t spending the type of money that they were last year however it was should have been expected.
