What am I leaving behind?

Yesterday my father had to have a “minor” surgery performed after having a checkup where the doctors thought they saw something abnormal.
Fortunately as of right now everything seems fine but during the five hour wait in the hospital I began to realize how fragile life is as well as how tomorrow isn’t promised.
