Making money doing what I love?
Yesterday I posted this link of a car salesman that got hit by a car during the shooting of his commercial.
After he got hit he told the camera crew to keep the cameras rolling while he was still under the car.
I’m not sure if this video is real or not but if it is then this man is a dedicated to his job.
He has to love his job (if this is real) to be able to put his company over his own well being.
This video made me ask myself what is it exactly that I love to do?
In no particular oder here is what I enjoy doing:
Playing with my daughter.
Sleeping.
Talking to myself about how todays technology will be used for my daughters generation.
Motivate people.
Try to simply difficult problems for people.
Every book that I’ve read or speaker that I’ve listened to all say the same thing which is, “If you do something that you love the money will follow.”
I have a few things that I’m good at (see above) and things that I feel that I do better than other people however I wouldn’t say that I love doing them (except spending time with my daughter).
There isn’t one thing that I couldn’t do without in my life besides not holding myself to a higher standard everyday but that isn’t something that I’m able to get paid from (if there is I haven’t found a way yet).
One thing that I really did enjoy was helping with the push of the new product that I have been talking about on this blog for the past 8 months.
I’m still working out the kinks in my plan on market penetration and hopefully the week after Christmas I will have my first go at implementing my plan.
Only time will tell what I truly have a passion for that will get me where I envision myself.
