Recap from my Atlanta trip – Traffic.

Most people that I have spoken with regarding living in Atlanta or the surrounding areas have no major complaints except for the traffic.

One of the main reasons for my trip was to experience the traffic first hand which I was able to accomplish very easily.

After spending a few days in the city I must admit that not only is the traffic terrible but the city has some of the worst drivers that I’ve ever encountered in my life.

For example, within the first ten minutes of leaving the airport in my rental some non driving ass lady “merges” into my lane without even looking over to see that I’m directly next to her.

Luckily my passengers and I saw this nut on wheels or else she probably would have pushed us into the next lane which had a diesel in it.

I can understand there being a bunch of bad drivers due to the fact that people move there from all over the world so being fully insured and observant aren’t options, they’re a must.

The other thing that erked me was the fact that the street lights don’t seem to be synchronized (my boy Dominick pointed this out) which causes needless traffic jams.

Besides the traffic jams caused by the traffic lights the normal traffic “flow’ is a traffic jam.

Driving on one of the interstates doing 75 then coming to a complete stand still seemed to be the norm.

The traffic was everything that everyone told me that it was, however it’s a small price to pay for what the city has to offer me.

Also considering the fact that Atlanta has a population of a little over five million people it’s to be expected.
