Another part in the opticial media journal part two

I feel as though the new way to deliver content will be through powerful data networks that have the ability to transfer larges files very quickly as well as while mobile (Sprint, WAKE UP!!).

/Side note:

This is another format war that Microsoft is into, mobile computing and they’re doing pretty well which is part of the reason why Apple came out with the iPhone.

Think about this:

You probably own or know someone that owns one of these, I will give you two guesses.

If your answer was an iPod then you’re correct.

You’re not walking around with a bunch of cds because you have an iPod that has the ability to hold a lot more in a much smaller space.

You’re helping the anti Sony/hd crowd with every purchase of a device that contains a small (in size) hard drive but with a large amount of storage space.

If you have cable tv then you probably own this or have at least witnessed on in action, once again you have two guesses.

Answer:

A digitial video recorder, DVR or TiVo.Once again you’re helping the anti Sony/hd crowd with every use.

This brings me to how this entry came about, the Xbox 360.

The system itself is what your iPod is to the music industry, a test to see what it will take to become control the living room as well as how information is controlled.
